The idea is to write it so that people hear it and it slides through the brain and goes straight to the heart. -Maya Angelou

Little Bee...If only I could see.
What a mystery this book is. I ask people what it's about and they say they can't tell me. I read the summary on the back, and still, nothing. Im going crazy trying to figure out what this book is about. I think the best solution is to just buy it and read it. Mrs. Ramirez, Madisson, and Erin like it. Im sure I will too. Barnes & Noble here I come. Hopefully their not out. I'll be very disappointed. Hmmphf! Reading three books at once? I wonder how that will turn out. I like a challenge:)
AP Practice
I know we do AP Practice to prepare ourselves for the actual test, but I enjoyed the prompts this week. Even though it seemed we would never finish writing essays, I found that it helped me to focus more on my writing. I did think that the multiple choice was a little hard, it seemed like there were questions that could've had more than one right choice. Process of elimination helped some, but I didn't know what to choose. So I just prayed that the one I picked was right. I think that helped me because I didn't do bad at all. I was excited! Yayy me.
Everything Is Illuminated
WOW...where to begin with this book. I don't even know. It's very interseting. I enjoy how the author wrote it. He incorporates himself into the story. It is a little confusing at the beginning, but once you get passed that it becomes easier to follow. The main character is hilarious. Im listening to the book while I read, and it makes it ten times better. I was almost in tears the first time I started reading it. Jonathan Safran Foer is an amazing writer and I would like to read more of his works. So far, my favorite book is Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close. Overall, I think this book will be good, it grabs the readers attention with the diction and imagery used.
